If so, submit a wedding photograph of just yourself to jay@bridalconfidential.com along with the following information: date of marriage, what city you are from, photographer’s name and permission from your photographer allowing us to use their photograph on our website.

Once we receive your photograph, it will be displayed on all three of our website photo galleries at www.bridalconfidential.com. Your name will also be listed on our Facebook Poll page, where you can get your friends and family to VOTE for you! To vote, please visit www.facebook.com/BridalConfidential and click on Poll, then click on Results to find your specific Poll.

Voting for Bridal Confidential's Bride of the Month contest will come to a close on May 1, 2012. The Bride from each month with the most votes will be shown in the 2012 issue of Bridal Confidential! Bridal Confidential's Cover Shoot Day 2011

On our cover shoot day, our three winners met in London and had a once in a lifetime experience! Abela Photography and Anchor Video were there to capture every moment. Being escorted by Ron from Grandeur Limousine, we set off on our adventure.

We began our amazing day at Side Street Salon, where our winners had their hair styled by their own individual stylist from their area. Our London/St. Thomas winner Sophia, had her hair styled by Side Street Salon (London). Our Sarnia/Chatham winner Ashley, was styled by Total Hair & Body Care (Petrolia) and Emilynne, our Windsor/Essex winner, by Salon Attitude (LaSalle). 

Next, N U Hair & Makeup Studio (London) provided their studio and were the makeup artists for all three of our winners. The girls donned their wedding gowns and off we went touring around the city of London, having a great time and getting some fabulous shots.

We are in the midst of Wedding Event season...

Having been to numerous bridal shows, we often see future brides only interested in the fashion show, but yet there is so much more. A bridal show is the ideal opportunity of opportunities - ALL of the vendors you need to make your day perfect are right there under one roof. Everyone from florists to limousine services, and bridal shops to banquet halls. Wedding Events have everything a future bride could ask for!

You have a chance to meet with various local businesses without spending hours and extra money driving around to visit them individually. At one point you will have to meet with these people, so why not do it now and save yourself a lot of leg work. Book appointments or meetings to further discuss what you want for your wedding.

Bring along some pre-printed business cards or name tags to leave with the vendors that you would like to have get in touch with you.

Bride of the Month Contest!

Bridal Confidential is holding our first ever Monthly Bride Contest!  

The winning bride from each month will be shown in our 2012 Magazine!

Every month we will hold a contest in which people can VOTE for who they think should be Bridal Confidential's Mrs. January, Mrs. February, Mrs. March, etc.

Every bride who was married in the current month and are from Southwestern Ontario (Sarnia/Lambton, Chatham-Kent, London/Middlesex, St.Thomas/Elgin and Windsor Essex areas) can enter the contest.

All you have to do is submit your favourite wedding photograph of just yourself to jay@bridalconfidential.com, along with the following information:

• Your full name
• Your date of marriage
• Where you are from/city of marriage
• Photographer's name and an email confirmation from their photographer giving us permission to use their photograph.

*Deadlines are yet to be determined.

Were you married in January 2011?

We are now taking photographs of local brides who were married this January 2011. Your photograph will be displayed on one of our photo galleries (on either our Windsor, Sarnia/Chatham or London web pages).

Once the nominees are in you can VOTE for your favourite January bride after viewing their photos on all three sites.

Local Wedding Couples of '2010'

We are now in the process of uploading photographs of our local wedding couples from 2010. Our website photo galleries consist of local brides and grooms married in 2010 and are from the Windsor/Essex, Sarnia/Lambton, Chatham-Kent, London/Middlesex and St.Thomas/Elgin areas. These photos are submitted by local photographers or by individual brides. Some of these photos will be featured in our 2011 magazine!

Contact us at jay@bridalconfidential.com if you want your 2010 wedding photo displayed in our gallery. It might even be chosen to be displayed in our upcoming magazine!

Send your favourite photograph along with the following information:

• -You and your husband's first names
• -Your date of marriage
• -What city you are from
• -Your photographer's name and get them to send us an email confirmation, allowing us to display their photograph on our website. If the photo was not taken by a professional then don't worry about it!
